Life Stories Series : The Little Gardener | League City Childrens Photographer

It's that time again. Life Stories are up. If you are new to the Life Stories Series, you can see the previous posts here.  It's a 12 month project I have joined in with some of my awesome photographer friends to document our own lives and share in a great big circle.

My precious boy.  He is quite the impatient gardener.  You see waiting for things to grow can be really overwhelming.  He is always out checking on the garden and the progress of the fruits and veggies.  The other day he came running in with 2 green fruit all excited to cut them and eat them.  However, he was greeted with 2 not-so-enthusiastic parents.  You see he thought this tree was a LIME tree although it has been a lemon tree for the last 3 years.  :)  We explained this, and that those fruit weren't ready and not to pick anymore until they are yellow.

He came in telling me to "come out and see".  I went out to see this yellow spot on this lemon which he really wanted to pick because "see it turned yellow".  Do you see the longing in his eyes?  Poor little guy, but I know those lemons are well worth the wait.  Yum!  Then he headed over to his sunflower that he planted determined to get some sunflower seeds from it only to be disappointed that it too was not ready.  :(  But won't it be a fun day when they are ready after all this waiting.

These sweet little girls came in for a few headshots and some 6 month shoots for little sis.

Adam + Nicole | Friendswood Wedding Photographer

The beautiful couple Adam and Nicole begin their lives together.  So wonderful to be there and see them wed. It was such a beautiful day filled with lots of laughter and joy.  Best wishes you guys.

Life Stories Series - The Story of a Girl and Her Puppy | League City Photographer

Life stories are up for the month of April.  If you are new to the Life Stories Series, you can see the previous posts here.  It's a 12 month project I have joined in with some of my awesome photographer friends to document our own lives.  I love sharing stories with these amazing photogs.

A girl and her puppy - My girl is such an animal girl. Every time she sees a kitty or a cow or a squirrel on the side of the road, she yells out and gets so excited, and she loves this poor pup so much.  He is such a good sport with her.  He lets her pull him all over the house and much worse as you'll see. :)  Although he will absolutely fight back with a good lick when he can.

See what I mean...  She said, "You are a baby!  You drink from bottle, little baby puppy."

But sometimes, even the best pup needs a break, and luckily this little guy will step in when that happens.  Each night we here his little barks from her bed as she babbles on and on to him.  "No talk puppy!  Sleep time."  She loves this puppy and he makes quite a few trips with us to all sorts of places.

And of course, any good mama needs to take lots of pictures of her baby, and puppy really likes to see his pics afterwards.

But she still has plenty of time to annoy this puppy too.  "You want this ball?  Yes, you do.  Yes, you do!!!  Puppy take ball! Now! Come here!" He's such a great sport.

Stephanie | Friendswood Senior Photographer

I love meeting these young women who are about to embark on such amazing adventures.  Meet Stephanie.  She is headed off to the Air Force Academy.  She wanted something patriotic in her photos (hence the flags).  Steph has high aspirations in the world of politics.  I can't say I envy her, but I definitely respect the decision to serve the country.

Stephanie is a military kid too.  It always gives me hope to see this military kids turning out well.  Seeing as I'm raising 3 myself.  It was wonderful meeting you Stephanie, and I wish you lots of luck as you pursue your dreams.

Happy Easter | League City Childrens Photography

I hope everyone have a wonderful Easter.  We had a great, busy time.  I took family photos at church on Sunday, and I snapped this one of my babies while there.  They are growing up so fast. :(  Love them so much.
